Proof must be submitted to the International Insurance Department located within the Health Information Management and Compliance Office at Student Health Services.
Students will receive a “HEINS” service indicator (health insurance hold) on their myUCF student account. Students will not be allowed to register for classes or continue enrollment without complying with the medical insurance requirement. There are no exceptions to this rule.
The medical insurance requirement can be met in one of two ways:
- By purchasing the UCF-recommended plan through Academic HealthPlans (AHP).
- By submitting proof of alternative insurance that is compliant with all the Florida Board of Governor’s requirements.
