ClioWelcome, set up with the purpose of welcoming first-year students to Groningen, assists and ensures all first-year students have the best start into Groningen and university life as possible. ClioWelcome takes up the organisation of Clio’s very own Introduction Period. This period lasts from the start of the academic year until the last lecture week of the first block. ClioWelcome is responsible for the organization of all activities ranging from lectures to parties and from workshops to social activities such as paintballing. This committee takes care of the integration of all new IRIO students and makes sure they have the best, most fun and interesting start in Groningen as possible.
